閱讀心得
1.Weblogs as dynamic learning spaces:
The paper has briefly explored the connection between blogging and learning. The use of blogs as a communication tool is still in its infancy, yet there is already evidence that they offer many opportunities for learners and educators involved in distance education.Blogs and other social software are enabling us to integrate learning as a natural part of everyday life. The boundary between formal and informal learning is slowly becoming blurred as a result. The literature that is beginning to emerge on the use of blogs as dynamic learning spaces in formal learning is demonstrating the need for educators to work with learners in a holistic way so that deep learning which has a lifelong impact can occur.However, a note of warning-there is a danger to become consumed by the tool. The power of this new communication technology is not the tool itself but those of us that choose to use it and participate in the wider community of users.
It is the people who make learning happen, not the technology.
The best way to learn about the possibilities afforded by blogs and blogging to learn it to become actively involved yourself .Go and create your own dynamic learning space by becoming a blogger!
隨著網路的發達,年輕人上網已成為主要生活的部分,所以部落格使用在教育上是新的教學方式,擁有網路及新奇的教學內容,讓年輕人更容易使用及樂意學習,其好處在於架設容易,撰寫編輯文字介面人性化,可嵌入不同的多媒體功能,都能讓學生熱於參與其中。
在 學生方面,傳統的教育是單方的傳授知識,老師在台上解釋他的經驗及理解,學生只有在台下猛抄筆記,填鴨式的教學方式,很快的就會將學習到的知識忘記,也極 少與同學討論教學內容,對部落格而言好處在於可以記錄自己的學習過程,並參與討論研究,讓自己的想法透過文字與圖形的方式紀錄學習過程,使思緒更加清楚, 也可以參觀同學的部落格,進而了解同學的思想與自己的差異,互相共同學習,增加擴展自己的視野。
在 老師方面,傳統教學無法在離校後,幫助同學解決問題,或者是同學害羞與老師面對面交談,而部落格可以追蹤每個同學學習的進度及情況,及時的回應及指導,並 發覺每個同學的不同程度,作為因材施教的參考。同時讓同學了解到老師的想法及教學方式,與老師做雙向的溝通,如此不只是在課堂上請教老師,也可隨時跟老師 聯絡發問。
雙方面也可以在RSS的幫助之下,使所有的訊息不會遺失,每個人都可以掌握最新訊息,不像E-MAIL一樣,不小心就刪除或忽略了,並可定期觀看進度及更新資訊,當回應的越多,撰寫部落格的動力則越強,這就是正面學習的方式,使雙方互惠學習成長。
經常在部落格撰寫文章,就如同傳統爬格子是一樣的道理,這可以使個人的思緒整理有條理的陳述,並不像是MSN等 短訊息一般,使用跳躍式的思考邏輯。而就撰寫內容方面,先可從自己興趣的主題為主,一方面熱情不會澆熄,另方面可獲得同好的支持鼓勵,增加持續不斷的更新 部落格的內容,才能吸引他人的參觀指教,同時自己也要多觀看別人的部落格,比較與自己的不同及吸取優點,同時留言訊息鼓勵或詢問問題,使雙方互相溝通交 流,達到知識共享與討論。
在部落格中忌諱抄襲文章及無創新,可以引用他人文章,但須註明出處;抄襲文章代表沒尊重他人,無創新文章表示沒有深入研究或關心細節,這些都不僅沒辦法吸引人潮,也對自己的思考無法刺激,創意創新無所不在,只看你是否用心於注意每個細節。
從學校教育到個社會學習,部落格是學習新知的地方,各式各樣的文章主題都在部落格上可以找到,它提供了社會經驗的累積及學習討論的場所,因大眾將自己的經驗撰寫在部落格上,有興趣或疑問的人就可以前往參與討論,並在吸收之後再次發表自己的體驗。
部 落格是知識的集散地,利用部落格可以讓你迅速的獲得所想要的資訊、新的點子,也可讓眾人的力量幫你找到問題或解決問題,在有限的時間內得到更大的效益,例 如:在部落格中尋找論文的題目或相關的研究,看社群是否有新的意見、看法,對這領域的問題、困難處、或極限,朝著解決這些問題,即是論文的題目。
由於網路有上百萬個部落格,而其中內容的真假虛實、虛假捏造、批評攻擊等,不可一昧的相信文字敘述,就需要靠自己的思考判斷其中的真實性,多方的考證查閱資料,思考其原因所在,發覺內容的問題或深層的意義,這才是進階部落格客應有的素養,其探索了blogging和學會之間的連接,提供許多機會給遠程教育,並學習用一個全新方式作為互動,以創造自己的動態學習的空間,這是新的通訊技術。
2.Using blogs in a EFL writing class:
For this paper,Probably the most famous , or should I say infamous, episode in the blogosphere in 2004 was that CBS anchor Dan Rather, a symbol of mainstream media, announced his retirement because his 60 Minutes scoop based on memos criticizing President George W.Bush service in the Texas Air National Guard was questioned by bloggers within a half hour of the broadcast. Later the CBS documents were proved to be forgeries. Blog, an emerging technology in the late of 1990s, is not just another kind of website but has become a universally recognized genre in cyberspace. No matter whether you like it or not, the omnipresence of blog is an indisputable fact. With the recent development of RSS and easy-to-use photo blogging, it is not surprising that blogs were integrated into many fields of study.
Even though blogging service is free and user-friendly, whether they can be used effectively in language learning and teaching still depends on how the course using blogs is designed. I am still a novice at the use of blogs in an English class. Nevertheless, most survery results I received were supportive and encouraging. With a well-organized instructional design, a blog definitely is a plus to English teachers.
部落格也可以使用在特殊教育上,目前特殊教育是孤獨及封閉的環境,外界不容易了解它的問題及困難,導致歧視或排斥的現象,而輔導員也無法互相有效的分享所經 歷過的體驗及解決方式,造成資源的浪費及重疊的效果,如果利用部落格群聚的特性,則可以讓輔導員有一個共同討論及發表經驗的空間,透過經驗的累積對被輔員 是有幫助的,用此記錄學員的成長教育過程及狀況,若某天交接替換輔導員時,學員的狀況就可以快速被掌握,不會被遺漏資料,另一方面也可以讓外界更加了解特 殊教育的情況,變成一種普遍地被認可的風格在網際空間,進而接納被輔員於社會工作上,試著幫助她們融入於社會,也聯合加入許多學科領域,成一個組織完善的教育設計。
3.Experiences of Adopting in -class Blogs in the Teaching of Hands-on computer Laboratory courses,IEEE International conference of Advanced Learning Technology(ICALT)2007(E):
For this paper, student feedback is collected and behavior patterns analyzed. Students are satisfied to be able to archive the process in the class participation. Using blogs is found to simplify the tasks of reducing piracy. For the purpose of knowledge sharing, blogs are a viable platform for ideas to float and grow. From the implementation point of view, blogs are easy to maintain, low cost, easy to deploy, and simple to get started. It does not have to be perfect in the beginning, and in fact it is unlikely it is satisfactory the first time. Having student feedback in the process makes us able to address various concerns and make progress.
Blogger是知識的目的分享,讓人溝通容易,將個人思想,成果透過blogger分享給大家,減少盜版,也對blogger 議題做廣泛隨興研究,是一個可實行的平臺.

1. 根據FIND網路脈動 ,企業於Web2.0的使用上,仍緩步前進,這份報告已歸納哪些原因?你認為應該還有哪些原因?
需要再教育,造成風潮;公開本來就不容易全面做到,若從手機來推動可能會快些.
目前僅有少數公司有對外公開的部落格(public blog),大多表示有部落格的企業還是多用在內部溝通上頭。
Socialtext追蹤了全美五百大以及世界一千大企業的公開的部落格情形,發現僅有8%的全美五百大企業以及4%的全球一千大企業有對外公開的部落格。然美國五百大企業的公眾部落格數量已較去(2006)年同期增加了一倍。不過,離公開的部落格全面被企業採用,還是有段差距。
公開的(public)這個字在此處是一個關鍵。Melcrum表示,雖然企業會在內部溝通時使用web2.0應用,然而把公司的資訊放在一個更透明化的地方,則是經營管理者所擔憂的重點。幾乎有一半的受訪者同意,職員在網路上討論他們的公司事務,會使公司名聲陷入某種風險。另外,有七成的人表示缺乏部落格或其他社群媒介工具相關的指導守則或是政策,他們不知道該如何應付那些與公眾面對面的溝通模式。
社群媒介對內部溝通是很好的工具,其可以幫助員工履行職務以及促進內部合作。企業現在希望藉由Web2.0的應用,打開對話之窗,不過要讓企業的高層領導者與一般公眾對話恐怕還需要一點時間。

1. 閱讀兩篇有關網站行銷效益評估的論文,撰寫500字到1000字心得。
Homework 96-05-05電子化政府網站,如何使政府網站容易被搜尋引擎找到,出現在較前面的排序,可以作為網站指名度的可靠指標。網路使用者是否有較高的可能性檢閱到該政府網站,應該是網站行銷必須重視的。以消費者的立場來說,我們在使用搜尋引擎時,雖然會查找到幾萬筆資料或是更多,但是,通常只會去翻閱前ㄧ兩頁的十幾筆資料而已,因此,如何出現再前面一點的排序,對行銷網站有很大的影響力。而在兩篇論文中提到,好的政府網站評比工具應該具備1)具有公信力,2)可以反應出網站資訊的「權威性」與「指名度」,3)容易使用。不須經過繁複的訓練,政府業務單位或是委外廠商可以隨時上網自行檢驗網站成效。4)取得成本廉價。此評量工具應該不受限設備平台,容易安裝,且費用低廉或甚至免費。和後面提出的PageRank相呼應,在閱讀到這邊時,真的覺得Google會成功不是偶然的,一個免費的工具PageRank,即可解決我們政府長久以來困擾的問題,也覺得這兩篇論文很有價值,畢竟台灣研究網路的論文很多,卻只有此兩篇想到如何利用PageRank此一工具來解決政府的問題,這是非常不簡單的。最後,閱讀完兩篇之後可以了解,要增加PageRank數值可以透過反向連結數來增加,而連結過來的網站的重要性越高,就越容易增加PageRank數,但是要多增加一個數字都是很不簡單的;此外,在電子化政府觀光網站建置效益評估論文中也可看出,台灣在推展觀光方面,真的很落後,如果把網頁全改成MediaWiki來架站,然後每個人負責在網站中自己該負責的部份,即是在網站中放入自己的連結,連結到自己的部落格,然後用PageRank來評績效,一定會對此事比較有熱情,會宣傳的比較好;而在電子化政府網站網路研究論文中,此一行銷手法非常好,PageRank數值可在半年內從0上升到5,就可知此一行銷手法的滲透力高,並省下一筆廣告費,而在此篇中,也看到如用部落格來行銷的新思維,可以大力的去推廣在網路行銷上。
